ABOUT ME
Nine years ago my husband Justin and I bought a house in Tallmadge and built my ideal salon attached to the very same property. Having such a quick walk to work has been a dream come true! My studio has given me the perfect space to create beautiful hair and allows me to continue to travel and educate other stylists on individual keratin hair extensions and Bioprogramming technology. It also gives my clients an exceptional salon experience. That is how Studio 655 Salon came to be.
I go by Cait, Caitlyn or Caitie. I am an absolute DOG LOVER and, as you can see, I have three of my own! We have two, ten-year old Golden Retrievers named Jaxon and Comet. We also have a mini golden doodle named Condado. Comet is a licensed salon dog by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology and spends most of his days at work with me!
Education is a vital part of my business. I am currently a LINE ONE Keratin Extension Educator and the Director of Education for Beautytech Distribution. I've trained thousands of incredible stylists nationwide and I love shariong my knowledge/ passion. Just ask anyone that sits in my chair! I often post videos of new techniques I've learned on instagram @hairbycaitlyn. During your appointment I'll outline exactly what to expect in terms of investment, time, maintenance, and longevity before creating your desired look.
I am very much a "Type A" personality and a true perfectionist. I am detail-oriented and I believe that's what sets my work apart from other stylists. I will never let anyone leave my chair unless we are both 100% satisfied with my work. I hold myself to a VERY high standard. I believe in going the extra mile and sometimes the finishing touches are what matter the most!
I love to travel (mostly to the Hyatt Ziva in Cancun) and I am total workout addict. Working out is such a stress reliever for me and I love all of the connections and relationships I've formed over the years through gym settings. You may catch me at an Orangetheory class, Crossfit gym or doing a Peloton class any day of the week!
My two favorite food groups are tacos and margaritas! I love both of those things more than anyone should. I even named our pup Condado after my favorite taco place.
